October is typically a special month for the Tedeschi Trucks Band because of their annual residency at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. COVID-19 made a 2020 in-person concert series impossible, leaving the band and crew in need of work and the fans without TTB's music.

The band decided to livestream a re-broadcast of the previous year’s final two Beacon performances, while inviting fans to interact with one another via live chat and offer donations and merchandise sales in support of the crew.
